Q. As a client, how much does it cost to engage Red in a search?

A. We are a contingent based firm, which means you pay nothing unless you hire a candidate that we put forward.  The fee varies based on the salary being offered. The fee will be solidified before any job search begins.

Q. Why do recruiters insist on coming out to meet us and see our office?

A. A job description can only tell us so much, and it is typically focused solely on the specific job. Very rarely does it include any company information, career progression opportunities, or the type of team in which the candidate will be working.

As a recruiter, it is our job to advise our candidates and give them all the information we possibly can in order to help them make a decision. Seeing your office and the type of environment helps us paint a better picture for the candidate and invariably make a better recommendation.

Q. Do you recruit for other positions? We really need an Process Engineer.

A. We are continually being approached about recruiting for other areas; Legal, Engineering and Administrative Support are just a few. At this time, we are focusing on what we do best… finance, accounting and IT, but we do have connections in other areas and are happy to help if we can add value.

Q. We have an internal recruitment team. Why should we use an agency?

A. Internal recruitment teams are an important part of the process, but often are required to focus on multiple departments and roles. At Red, we are specialized in finance and accounting. We are entrenched in this space and have relationships with both active and passive candidates on the market.
