Our client is one of Canada’s leading construction companies, managing multi-million dollar projects from inception through completion. As a market leader for over 50 years and with a growth model that continues to attract top talent, the company is looking to add a Treasury Analyst to its team.

Reporting to the Treasury Manager and as part of a high-performing group, the Treasury Analyst will be a key player as the company enhances their forecasting and other reporting tools.  In addition to a generous overall compensation package, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build long term equity in the company with an employee share plan.

Key Responsibilities/Functions

  • Responsible for bi-weekly long-term forecasting, review and analysis of operational input, with a view to building and enhancing the current tool
  • Responsible for daily Cash position and reconciling prior day cash movements
  • Prepare and coordinate documents for Letters of Credit issuances
  • Develop and document end-to-end policies and processes
  • Prepare confirmations and settlements of various Treasury transactions
  • Work closely and build relationships throughout the organization
  • Assist with account reconciliation for multiple entities as required
  • Assist with year-end audits, collaborate and cross-train with other team members
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and requests as required
  • Assist with identifying and developing continuous business improvement opportunities                                                                                                                                                                        


  • University degree with minimum 2 years Treasury/Banking experience, CPA, CTP or CFA enrollment or recent completion would be a definite asset
  • Knowledge of institutional financial services industry, practices and regulations
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP would be considered a significant asset
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems would be considered an asset
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain high level of accuracy and ability to multi-task under pressure is required
  • Deadline orientated
  • Ability to work independently, work with others and contribute to a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
